Job summary

Caribou Coffee in Jordan, Minnesota is seeking a Team Member to deliver day-making experiences through exceptional guest service and hand-made beverages.

You will welcome guests, build relationships, make product recommendations, and support store operations while maintaining cleanliness and following procedures. Starting pay ranges from $11.23 to $18.71 per hour, subject to local wage regulations.

Qualifications

• Restaurant, retail, or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service by connecting with guests and offering product knowledge.
• Hand-craft beverages to order following Caribou standards.
• Heat, prepare, and serve Caribou food offerings per SOP.
• Floats between barista and guest service and supports team roles as needed.
• Manage guest orders and cash drawer, following cash handling policies.
• Maintain the look and feel of a well-run store with cleanliness and organization.

The Team Member is the core of the Caribou experience, responsible for creating day‑making experiences through unparalleled guest service, crafting high‑quality hand‑made beverages, and embodying Caribou’s purpose and values in every interaction.

• Heats, prepares, and serves Caribou food offerings per standard operating procedures
• Floats between barista and guest service, fulfilling all team member roles and responsibilities as needed
• Manages guest orders, cash drawer, and follows all cash handling policies and procedures
• Maintains the look and feel of a well‑run store by following cleanliness, sanitization, and organization standards
• Actively thinks and acts upon what the team and guest will need in the future
• Differentiates between problems that can be solved directly and when to ask for leader support

Physical Requirements

Seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These demands may be met with or without reasonable accommodations.

Compensation

$11.23 – $18.71 per hour. Starting pay is subject to Local and State Minimum Wage regulations. The salary range reflects what the employer reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position.
