Job summary

Playa Bowls, LLC. in East Orange, NJ is seeking team members to support daily operations, prep fruit, make frozen bases, smoothies, bowls, and take customer orders. You will also help with stocking, cleaning, and ensuring a positive guest experience on shift.

Flexible hours and discounts are offered, with opportunities for growth. Basic duties include checking orders, using the POS system, and working with staff to maintain quality and presentation at the store.

Qualifications

• Must be over 16 years old.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly.
• Able to lift over 25 pounds.
• Dependable, committed, and communicative.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and assemble the orders.
• Replenish supplies and condiments and maintain inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
• Manage time effectively and meet all job responsibilities.
• Maintain a positive work environment for guests and staff.
• Check products for consistency, presentation, and flavor.
• Perform food preparation or service tasks.
• Use point of sale cash register system.
• Address questions or comments from customers.
• Communicate with coworkers and manager.

Job description

Team Members are the front liners in providing positive customer service. The job entails: prepping fruit, making frozen fruit bases; smoothies; juices; smoothie bowls, take customer orders, cleaning work stations, and executing effective customer service.
