Job summary

Playa Bowls, LLC. is hiring for both part-time and full-time positions in New Jersey. The team focuses on exceptional customer service, accurate food preparation, and efficient store operation. Candidates should be able to work weekends and uphold high standards of quality and presentation.

Base pay starts at $14 per hour with additional tips from credit card transactions and cash tips. Growth opportunities are available within the company, and Serv Safe certification is supported.

Qualifications

• Previous managerial experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication and active listening abilities.
• Ability to work with staff of varying ages.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes.
• Critical thinking and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Check products to ensure consistency and quality.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding food quality, service, and accommodations.
• Receive food and beverage deliveries and verify contents.
• Monitor food preparation, portions, garnishing, and presentation to ensure company standards.
• Review procedures to identify improvements in service, performance, or safety.
• Maintain food and equipment inventories.
• Train new employees and evaluate performance.
• Operate POS cash register, handle cash deposits.
• Adhere to opening/closing procedures and maintain records.

Job description

• Checking products to ensure consistency and quality
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding food quality, service, and accommodations
• Receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity
• Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food to make sure it's up to Company Standards
• Review work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, or safety
• Maintain food and equipment inventories
• Train new employees and evaluate employee performances
• Utilize point of sale cash register. Count money and make bank deposits.
• Adhere to Company opening and closing procedures and maintain accompanying records
• $14 base pay + average Credit Card tips exceed $2 per hour + Cash Tip
• We are hiring for Part Time and Full Time positions. Must be able to work weekends.
