Job summary

Playa Bowls Jersey Gardens is seeking a Shift Lead to support team members in delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include preparing fruit bases, making smoothies and bowls, taking orders, and maintaining clean stations.

Qualifications

• Must at least be over the age of 18.
• Previous managerial experience is required.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to lead a shift with 2-6 team members.
• Able to work 20+ hours per week.
• Must have a working smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product quality and consistency.
• Address customer complaints about food quality and service.
• Receive deliveries and verify contents.
• Monitor food prep, portions, garnishing, and presentation to standards.
• Review procedures to improve service, performance or safety.
• Maintain inventories of food and equipment.
• Train new employees and evaluate performance.
• Perform cash register counts.
• Follow opening/closing procedures and records.

Shift Leads are at the forefront in supporting their teams in providing positive customer service. The job entails: prepping fruit, making frozen fruit bases; smoothies; juices; smoothie bowls, take customer orders, cleaning work stations, and executing effective customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consistently checking products to ensure consistency and quality
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding food quality, service, and accommodations
• Receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity
• Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food to ensure company standards
• Review work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, or safety
• Maintain food and equipment inventories
• Train new employees and evaluate employee performances
• Cash register counts
• Adhere to opening and closing procedures and maintain accompanying records

REQUIREMENTS

• Must at least be over the age of 18
