Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services SFS, the captive finance arm for a leading automaker, seeks a Specialized Service Team Manager to lead our operations. You will drive process improvements, manage performance metrics, and ensure compliance with CFPB and state laws while supervising a skilled service team.

In this role you will implement strategic initiatives, coordinate cross-functional efforts, and deliver coaching and training to enhance efficiency and accuracy in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Two years of Auto Repossession, Collections, or Remarketing experience.
• At least one year of experience in a team lead or supervisory role.
• Must live within a commutable distance of Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross functional teams to streamline operations and enhance process automation.
• Respond promptly to audit inquiries from the Compliance Department ensuring full adherence to CFPB, state and local regulations.
• Lead the development of strategic initiatives, optimize workflows, and monitor performance metrics across specialized service functions.
• Facilitate regular team meetings to define, refine and align short and long-term departmental objectives.
• Address and resolve escalated issues, manage daily task distribution, and maintain effective communication across departments.
• Deliver tailored training programs for new hires and provide ongoing coaching and support to existing team members.
• Support leadership in the creation of performance reports and trend analyses to guide strategic decision making.
• Oversee account assignments and ensure compliance with RTC, SCL, SSCRA, Bankruptcy protections and internal corporate policies.

Position Summary

The Specialized Service Team Manager role is responsible for providing strategic leadership to the specialized service team ensuring operational excellence through the development implementation and continuous improvement of business processes Key responsibilities include monitoring staff performance driving accountability and fostering a culture of high achievement The position also ensures strict adherence to corporate policies and compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications and Competencies

Required Experience

• A minimum of two 2 years of experience in Auto Repossession Collections or Remarketing.
• At least one 1 year of experience in a team lead or supervisory role.

Required Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions short correspondence and memos; and to write clear concise communications.
• Proficiency in performing basic mathematical operations including addition subtraction multiplication and division using whole numbers fractions and decimals.
• Demonstrated ability to apply sound judgment and follow detailed written or verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Familiarity with and adherence to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act as well as applicable local state and federal collection laws.

Education

• High School Diploma GED.

Additional Requirements

• Overtime required required on an as needed basis.
• Travel 0 10 as required on an as needed basis.
• Must live within a commutable distance of the following cities Atlanta GA.

Qualifications Preferred

• Directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the companys policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees planning and assigning directing work appraising the performance of employees rewarding and disciplining employees addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Although this position should provide authority to lead and oversee day to day operations it shall not provide the authority to take the following actions without consulting with the Human Resources department hire fire promotetransferdemote or discipline an employee in a formal manner.

Work Schedule
