Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate day-to-day activities of the data maintenance team.
  • Assign, prioritize, and monitor work to ensure projects progress according to timelines and milestones.
  • Translate organizational goals into actionable work plans, responsibilities, and deliverables.
  • Track productivity, quality metrics, deadlines, and project risks; provide coaching and support.
  • Maintain clear documentation of workflows, procedures, decisions, responsibilities, and outstanding issues.
  • Coordinate communication among leadership, subject matter experts, staff, and technical contributors.
  • Conduct quality reviews and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Create project reports, dashboards, status updates, and performance summaries.
  • Utilize spreadsheets, productivity tools, and AI technologies responsibly to improve efficiency and execution.

Overview

An established nonprofit medical referral organization is seeking a full-time, highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Team Management & Project Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of its data maintenance team and support on-site execution of key medical information initiatives. This role is ideal for a strong coordinator who enjoys building structure, managing workflows, and ensuring projects are completed accurately and on schedule. The Team Management & Project Coordinator will serve as a central point of accountability for project planning, team productivity, quality oversight, documentation, and operational execution.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate day-to-day activities of the data maintenance team
  • Assign, prioritize, and monitor work to ensure projects progress according to timelines and milestones
  • Translate organizational goals into actionable work plans, responsibilities, and deliverables
  • Track productivity, quality metrics, deadlines, and project risksProvide coaching, guidance, accountability, and ongoing support to team members

  • Experience creating SOPs, workflow documentation, project plans, dashboards, and management reports
  • Exposure to healthcare, medical terminology, taxonomy, classification systems, or knowledge-management projects
  • Sufficient technical literacy to collaborate effectively with database, reporting, or software-related teams
Compensation & Benefits
  • $70,000-$85,000 (based on experience)
