Job summary

New Hope of Indiana is seeking a full-time Team Leader to supervise two houses within the Supported Living Program in Indianapolis. This Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm role includes some on-call evenings and weekend requirements, offering opportunities to grow your career while helping people live more independent lives.

As Team Leader you will mentor DSPs, ensure compassionate care, maintain budgets and documentation, and collaborate with HR and management to onboard new staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record acceptable.
• Willing to use personal vehicle and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and support emotional, medical, and safety needs with compassion.
• Advocate for equitable access and uphold rights of individuals.
• Mentor DSPs to promote growth per Person-Centered Plan.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Manage and safeguard finances per policy and individual’s competency.
• Maintain Medicaid and Social Security funding.
• Develop relationships with individuals, families, staff and others.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage as needed.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels to support best life practices.
• Support onboarding and training of new associates.
• Perform administrative duties: documentation, billing, payroll, budgeting.
