Job summary

International Motors USA is seeking a Team Leader I/II on the P&L Way for their San Antonio, TX operation. The role leads assemblers, material handlers, and inspectors, guiding daily production on first and second shifts with a 10% shift differential when moving to the night shift.

Responsibilities include coaching, enforcing safety, quality, and cost priorities, and driving continuous improvement using KPI dashboards and standardized work methods.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of materials, warehouse or inventory control experience.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing / production experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with P&L Way at International.
• At least 1 year of lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Reads and follows work instructions, standards, and SOPs in Production & Logistics (P&L Way).
• Acts with Customer First mindset and uses Andon when needed.
• Coaches the team to improve while maintaining consistent attendance and performance.
• Develops and engages the team, modeling expected behaviors and standards.
• Monitors performance with KPI dashboards and visual management to meet goals.
• Uses the 4-Step Training Method and Train the Trainer approach.
• Ensures competency standards for workstations and processes are met.
• Promotes safety and uses PPE, reporting hazards and incidents.
• Drives continuous improvement and problem prevention at the source.
• Leads with empathy, resolves conflicts, and motivates the team.
