Description
The Lemuel Shattuck Hospital (LSH), operated by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH), is seeking three experienced Environmental Service Specialist III shift leaders to join our Environmental Services team (EVS). The EVS III Team Leader supervises routine and non-routine housekeeping tasks and linen distribution within the hospital. The incumbents will work under the supervision of the Environmental Service Specialist IV and the EVS Supervisor to complete projects and oversee evening and night staff.

Lemuel Shattuck Hospital, a fully Joint Commission-accredited teaching facility, provides acute, subacute, and ambulatory care to patients referred by public agencies and private providers. It serves economically and socially disadvantaged patients, offering high-quality, cost-effective care with a respectful staff.
Located in Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood, the hospital includes 248 inpatient beds (including 95 psychiatric beds and 29 correctional health beds) and a comprehensive outpatient clinic with various specialties. The hospital is a leader in substance use disorder treatment, including a Suboxone clinic serving 200 patients, and supports services for patients struggling with addiction and homelessness.
