Job summary

Help On The Way Inc. is seeking a Team Leader to supervise staff and support individuals with disabilities in Day and Home services in Bronx, NY. The role requires strong leadership, organization, and commitment to client outcomes.

You will oversee a caseload of staff and clients, perform documentation and reporting, and collaborate with program supervisors to implement habilitation plans. The position is full-time with a one-year probation, and requires English proficiency and relevant

Qualifications

• High School Degree is required.
• Associate’s degree in health and human services or 60 credits in a bachelor’s program is preferred.
• One year experience in service plan development for any population, or experience with developmental disabilities.
• Written and reading fluency in English. Ability to read, and interpret documents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise up to 15 direct support professionals and oversee up to 40 clients.
• Provide ongoing supervision and training to staff.
• Complete required documentation and reports in a timely manner.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and positive role modeling in daily activities.
