Job summary

Tudor Employment Agency Ltd seeks an experienced Team Leader for a children’s residential home in Burton-upon-Trent. Lead and support a team of Residential Support Workers to deliver safe, nurturing care in line with Ofsted and Children’s Home Regulations.

You will oversee safeguarding, care planning and daily operations, ensuring staff development, effective handovers and high-quality outcomes for children and young people.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience within residential childcare
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent organisation and record-keeping abilities
• Good knowledge of safeguarding, care planning and Children’s Home Regulations
• Enhanced DBS check
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and supervise staff on shift

• Assist with rotas, medication administration and health & safety
