Haworth, Inc. in Holland, MI is seeking a Team Leader for the Wood Plant to drive safety, quality and production goals on the 1st shift (4X10). You will coach a production team, balance schedules, and maintain daily performance metrics in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years of team-based manufacturing experience, PIT certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Overtime, weekend work, and relocation are not required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience working in a team based manufacturing environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain powered industrial truck (hilo) certification.
• Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to lift/move products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in conditions with noise, dust, fumes, dirt, solvent, grease, oil, paint, heat, and/or vibrations; overtime/weekends/holidays as needed.
• Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.

Responsabilidades

• Launches daily/weekly schedules for employees and assigns shifts.
• Serves as communication conduit between leadership and line staff.
• Conducts GEMBA walks and audits (safety, quality, 5S).
• Resolves production problems and expedites parts to meet schedule.
• Trains employees and updates training records; supports process changes.
• Rotates through departments and participates in continuous improvement activities.
• Works overtime as needed and may back up supervisor when required.
