Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in Speedway, IN is seeking a Shift Team Leader to supervise the production area during 12-hour days, from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, aligning with the production plan and ensuring safety, quality, and output goals.

You will set expectations, coach and train the team, lead shift turnover, and fill in as a working Team Leader when needed; you will also drive performance in delivery, cost, quality and safety while escalating repairs as necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 7+ years related experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the overall activities of the production area during the shift according to the production plan.
• Set expectations, monitor performance, provide coaching and corrective action, and train the team.
• Prepare shift turnover reports for the oncoming shift and lead shift start up meetings.
• Act as a working Team Leader by filling vacancies on the production team as needed.
• Drive performance objectives in delivery, cost, quality, and safety, and assist employees in meeting goals.
• Operate and/or oversee the operation of technical processes and equipment, escalating repairs and concerns as required.

What you will enjoy doing*
