Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a supervisor to lead the Combustion Spray Pyrolysis (CSP) department, ensuring safety, production, and quality while coaching and mentoring the CSP team.

The role requires 2–3 years in Powder Manufacturing or 5+ years in a manufacturing supervisory role, plus proficiency with Oracle WIP/inventory and Microsoft Office. You may work rotating shifts and collaborate closely with engineering, safety, quality, and maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience related to Powder Manufacturing or 5+ years in a manufacturing supervisor or related position.
• Willing to work on off-shifts based on business needs as necessary on a periodic basis
• Familiar with the Oracle suite (WIP, inventory, etc.)
• Strong process knowledge of SOPs, JSAs, PMI and ability to update/change documents
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with training and/or leading others preferred
• Rotating schedule Monday–Friday; Tuesday–Saturday

Responsibilities

• Lead the CSP department to meet safety, production, and quality goals.
• Coach, train, and mentor CSP production team members.
• Serve as liaison between production and support functions (engineering, safety, quality, maintenance).
• Assist management with production scheduling, time clocks, and vacation management, and safety issues.
• Present status updates, timelines, and discuss issues daily with manager and team.

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will lead the Combustion Spray Pyrolysis (CSP) department to meet department and business goals for Safety, Production and Quality
• Further you will work alongside other CSP production team members to help execute daily tasks by leading, coaching, training, and mentoring others
• Your expertise in both business and process knowledge will be relied on heavily for team success
• Also, you will serve as a liaison between your production department and support functions such as engineering, safety, quality, and maintenance teams
• You will assist management with tasks such as production scheduling, time clock and vacation management, as well as production quality and safety related issues
• You will present status updates, timelines, and discuss open or resolved issues daily with your manager and team

What makes you great

• You will have 2-3 years’ experience related to Powder Manufacturing OR 5+ years in a manufacturing supervisor or related position
• You will be expected and willing to work on off-shifts based on business needs as necessary on a periodic basis
• You should be familiar and proficient with the Oracle suite (WIP, miscellaneous charge outs, inventory, etc.)
• A strong process knowledge of department SOP’s, JSA’s, PMI’s and the ability to update and change these documents as needed
• You should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with training and/or leading others is preferred
• Required to work a rotating schedule Monday – Friday; Tuesday- Saturday
