Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. is seeking a Team Leader in Speedway, IN. You will guide the production shift, set expectations, coach team members, and support training initiatives to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires turning plans into action, managing turnover reports, and stepping in as a working Team Leader when needed. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 7+ years of related experience.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

What you will enjoy doing*

• In this role, you will lead and maintain the overall activities of the production area during the shift according to the production plan
• You will set expectations, monitor performance and provide coaching and corrective action to employees, and provide training and continual development for the team
• Further, you will prepare shift turnover report for oncoming shift and lead shift start up meetings
• You will function as a “working Team Leader” by filling voids on the production team as needed
• Also, you will drive performance objectives in the areas of delivery, cost, quality, and safety, and assist employees in consistently achieving their specific goal(s)
• You will operate and/or oversee the operation of technical processes and equipment, including escalating repairs and concerns

What Makes You Great

• A High School Diploma / GED is required and 7-years’ related experience, and at least 3-years in a leadership position
• You need effective oral/written communication skills
• You must have basic computer and math skills
• Further you must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
• Must be able to successfully pass the essential job function physical requirements
