The goal is to provide advocacy, resources, trusting relationships, educational support, and engaging activities. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on supervisor who seeks an opportunity to train, support, and uplift a team. Choices ATD aims to help young people with a case in Family Court gain competence, confidence, positive connections with peers and adults, build character and self‑esteem, contribute to their communities, and reduce their involvement in the criminal legal system. Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Coach works with young people and their families to develop goals around education, health and wellness, youth development, and reduction in recidivism, ensuring that participants and families receive strengths‑based, culturally relevant services that support their self‑identified goals and adhere to the core principles of risk, need, and responsivity.
