Job summary

C&J Industries is a full service plastic injection molding contract manufacturer and FDA certified medical device manufacturer. The Team Leader position serves as the communicator and trainer for the Machine Operator position and enforces GMP by performing listed duties.

High school diploma or GED and basic math, reading, and computer skills required. Responsibilities include training operators, enforcing GMP, rounding breaks, monitoring particle counts, inventory in clean rooms, and

• Ability to communicate clearly with internal customers

• Ability to apply basic math to figures, fractions and units of weight

Responsibilities

• Train Machine Operators to procedures, specific molding machines, and observe to ensure proper training
• Understand and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices rules and regulations
• Relieve Machine Operators for their breaks
• Monitor particle count in packaging rooms
• Maintain inventory in the clean rooms
• Read and understand routers, work orders, work instructions, quality plans

The Team Leader position serves as the communicator and trainer for the Machine Operator position and enforces the Good Manufacturing Practices by performing the following job duties.

• Train Machine Operators to procedures, specific molding machines, and observe to ensure proper training.
• Understand and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices rules and regulations.
• Relive Machine Operators for their breaks.
• Monitor particle count in packaging rooms.
• Maintain inventory in the clean rooms.
• Read and understand routers, work orders, work instructions, quality plans.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write basic correspondence and complete forms accurately. Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with internal customers.

Must be computer literate.

Ability to apply basic math to calculate figure and amounts such as fractions and percentages and units of weight measure.

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; bend; twist; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
