The Team Leader position serves as the communicator and trainer for the Machine Operator position and enforces the Good Manufacturing Practices by performing the following job duties.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write basic correspondence and complete forms accurately. Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with internal customers.
Must be computer literate.
Ability to apply basic math to calculate figure and amounts such as fractions and percentages and units of weight measure.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; bend; twist; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
