Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Port Reading, NJ seeks a Team Lead for the 2nd shift (Seasonal) to coordinate warehousing activities, training, and safety compliance. You will mentor staff, oversee receiving, shipping, and quality control, and ensure accurate paperwork and productivity.

Strong leadership and forklift/MHE experience are required. The role requires attention to detail, effective communication with customers, and adherence to SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in logistics distribution.
• Able to operate MHE and forklift equipment.
• English language skills required.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train new and existing associates in distribution activities.
• Oversee unloading, picking, and staging per SOPs and verify paperwork.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and prepare site reports.
• Ensure product quality and proper labeling and packaging per SOPs.
• Follow safety, housekeeping, and OSHA/MSDS standards and participate in safety meetings.
• Direct warehouse team to meet productivity and payroll targets.
