Placements24 is seeking a motivated Warehouse Operative with leadership potential for our client in Paarl, Western Cape. You will guide a team through daily operations, focusing on accurate picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory control, while upholding safety standards and operational efficiency.

The role involves supervising shifts, training new staff, maintaining order accuracy, and collaborating with supervisors to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a warehouse team (1+ year)
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet targets
• Residing near Paarl or willing to commute

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of warehouse operatives to meet targets.
• Oversee receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure accuracy in orders and inventory counts.
• Enforce health and safety regulations.
• Provide training to new and existing team members.
• Monitor performance and give feedback.
• Operate equipment safely (pallet jacks, forklifts if certified).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
• Assist with stocktaking and discrepancy resolution.
• Communicate with supervisors to resolve issues.
