About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing logistics and distribution company, is seeking an experienced and organized Warehouse Supervisor to manage their operations in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and accurate management of all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff, optimizing warehouse layout and processes, and maintaining high standards of safety and inventory accuracy. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role in a key operational hub. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency and implementing best practices within the warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent leadership qualities, and a thorough understanding of warehouse management systems. This role requires a blend of operational oversight and team management.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Oversee the receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in inventory management, receiving, and dispatch operations.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and make decisions effectively.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma principles is advantageous.
