Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead operations in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will manage receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching, while directing a team and optimizing layout, processes, and safety compliance.

The role emphasizes inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and collaboration with transportation teams. Candidates should have 4+ years in warehouse operations, supervisory experience, and proficiency with WMS and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in warehouse operations, with 2 years in supervision.
• Experience with inventory management, receiving and dispatch.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
• Proficient in WMS and MS Office.
• Lean or Six Sigma experience advantageous.
• Ability to work in a hybrid on-site/remote model.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of warehouse staff and ensure efficient workflow.
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
• Implement inventory controls and conduct cycle counts.
• Ensure safety regulations compliance and policy adherence.
• Train and motivate staff to maintain a productive work environment.
• Coordinate with transport and logistics teams for timely dispatch.
• Identify process improvements to reduce costs and boost efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and staff performance.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the facility.
