Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) seeks a Team Lead for Tank & Canopy on 2nd shift in Richmond, VA. Lead manufacturing teams, drive safety, quality and efficiency, and coordinate daily production activities with cross-functional support to meet delivery goals.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing, strong problem solving, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 6S and PDCA focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Over 3 years related experience in manufacturing.
• Basic computer skills with MS Word, Excel and Outlook; AS400 knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct manufacturing teams and coordinate department operations.
• Maintain 6S, visual boards and standard work procedures.
• Plan daily startup, schedule materials and support Kaizen with engineering.
• Monitor safety, quality and production metrics (SQDC) and drive continuous improvement.
