Job summary

Tractor Supply Company in Paducah, KY is seeking a Team Member to assist the Store Manager and ASM in executing operational, sales and merchandising objectives while delivering outstanding customer service.

This role emphasizes promoting a safe, productive work environment, training team members, handling live animals, cashiering, and supporting selling initiatives. Availability includes varied shifts; candidates should be at least 18 and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends and overtime.
• Uphold a safe and productive work environment by following policies.
• Support selling initiatives (TEAM) and engage with customers.
• Execute merchandising plans, opening/closing procedures, price changes and Plan-o-gram compliance.
• Assist in loading purchases and helping customers with loading.
• Handle live animals and care for their habitats.
• Perform janitorial duties and assist in training new Team Members.
