Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply Brandon, MS is seeking team members to support store leadership in delivering excellent customer service, merchandising, and safe operations. You will engage customers, stock shelves, and help train new Team Members.

This role requires flexibility, the ability to work varied shifts, and a commitment to loss prevention and live animal welfare. Prior retail or pet knowledge is preferred, with a focus on teamwork and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred and ability to lead a team.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; reading, writing and counting required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied hours including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Uphold safety and productive work environment by enforcing policies.
• Assist in selling initiatives: thank customers, engage with customers/pets, advise products.
• Execute merchandising, pricing, and Plan-o-gram activities.
• Open/close procedures and cash handling with reconciled drawers daily.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and care for live animals.
• Train new Team Members and complete documentation for duties.
