Job summary

The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare's Division of Management Services in Boise seeks a proactive Program Supervisor to lead a Research & Analysis team and ensure timely processing of background checks.

You will set goals, monitor performance, and collaborate with stakeholders to support IDHW missions, balancing data-driven decision making with regulatory requirements.

Note: this position is not eligible for telework and requires a criminal history background investigation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of management practices
• Experience developing procedures and monitoring a budget
• Experience supervising staff
• Experience liaising with customer/provider groups
• Experience interpreting federal or state regulations
• Experience reading, interpreting, and applying RAP sheets, statutes, or agency policies
• Experience multitasking with critical information
• Experience providing written reports and communications

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, oversee, and participate in day-to-day operations.
• Set and enforce daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Manage email and voicemail traffic; secure data transmission into the background check system.
• Approve time sheets and manage tardiness and absences of staff.
• Establish and manage research and analysis expectations.
• Substitute for research and analysis staff when needed.
