The Department of Health and Welfare’s Licensing and Certifications, Bureau of Facility Standards is hiring a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Social Worker, or a Registered Dietician for ourBoise office.
This position is responsible for conducting surveys and investigations to assess compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and state laws, regulations, and policies governing healthcare facilities. Surveyors evaluate the quality and delivery of care, facility practices, policies and procedures, and other factors that impact the health, safety, and well-being of patients. Through surveys and complaint investigations, surveyors help ensure facilities meet regulatory requirements and provide safe, effective, and high-quality care to the public.
All positions require the ability and willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays. Health Facility Surveyors may travel outside their local area and may be away from home overnight. Depending on workload and survey assignments, travel may account for up to 50% or more of work time during certain periods. Most assigned facilities, however, are located within the surveyor’s local or regional area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A valid driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age and meet eligibility requirements to drive a state vehicle.
