Job summary

Jobtailor in Dallas, TX, seeks a Quality Compliance Associate to coordinate safety and quality functions within warehouse operations. You will assist the Supervisor with compliance and drive safety programs across the site.

The role emphasizes maintaining the Document Control Center, supporting Internal Audits and Corrective Actions, and updating quality procedures and client documentation to meet QMS standards. Strong communication and data skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to handle basic statistical control methods.
  • Previous inventory experience.
  • Current or previous experience with Quality Management System.
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, Windows, or Visio.
  • English reading, writing, and verbal skills.
  • Basic to intermediate mathematical skills.
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
  • Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment preferred.
  • Previous experience with Internal Audits, Document Control, and Corrective Action plans preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate safety and quality functions and assist the Supervisor with warehouse compliance.
  • Implement identified safety and training programs.
  • Maintain the Document Control Center, data, and records of the Quality System.
  • Support, document, and follow up on Internal Audits, QMS/QIS, and Corrective Actions.
  • Update visual aids, process instructions, quality procedures, corrective and preventive actions, and client documentation.
  • Generate and update control charts and Quality QOS.
  • Review and validate controlled documentation throughout the plant against QIS.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects.
  • Develop improvements to employee performance and services with the Supervisor.
  • Perform plant tours to detect quality noncompliance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation or area.

Job description

  • Implement identified safety and training programs

  • Support, document, and follow up on Internal Audits, QMS/QIS, and Corrective Actions
  • Update visual aids, process instructions, quality procedures, corrective and preventive actions, and client documentation
  • Generate and update control charts and Quality QOS
  • Review and validate controlled documentation throughout the plant against QIS
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects
  • Develop improvements to employee performance and services with the Supervisor
  • Perform plant tours to detect quality noncompliance
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation or area
  • Complete assigned activities and projects
  • Send Weekly Triggers files to suppliers on time
  • Manage and follow up on aged material, excess inventory, and slow-moving inventory processes
  • Maintain vendor, contact, parts, and profile information in the system
  • Improve operational communication with suppliers and customers
  • Prepare paperwork and backup data for return shipments
  • Ensure customer responses meet customer service objectives
  • Prepare reports and monitor compliance
  • Coordinate cycle counts for Sync Report Analysis
  • Participate in Customer/Internal Corrective Action and Improvement Plans
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to handle basic statistical control methods
  • Previous inventory experience
  • Current or previous experience with Quality Management System
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, Windows, or Visio
  • English reading, writing, and verbal skills
