Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
• 4 years of relevant work experience required.
• 4 years of managerial/supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in AS9100 or ISO environment preferred.
• Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Process Improvement knowledge preferred.
• Experience in warehousing or 3PL preferred.
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment by monitoring and enforcing safety procedures preferred.
• Strong problem-solving techniques and statistical analysis skills preferred.

• Communicate with customers, vendors and team members to ensure customer commitments are met
• Demonstrate understanding of GXO’s quality policies and establish procedures for maintaining quality objectives
• Provide guidance to supervisors regarding personnel, quality and safety
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff
• Recommend programs to improve operations
• Handle equipment and coordinate maintenance needs with the maintenance team
• Ensure records are maintained and reports are completed promptly
• Enforce safe work practices and ensure warehouse compliance with OSHA and other standards and regulations
• Oversee data center operations supporting engaged employees, loyal customers and efficient operations

Requirements

• 4 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field (preferred)
• 4 years of managerial/supervisory experience (preferred)
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment (preferred)
• Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Process Improvement knowledge and experience (preferred)
• Experience in warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) (preferred)
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment by monitoring and enforcing safety procedures across all departments (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving techniques and statistical analysis skills (preferred)
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
