Job summary

Millerbernd Manufacturing in Winsted, MN is seeking a Team Lead for Pre-Assembly on the 2nd shift or weekend shift. You will provide tactical leadership to the team, ensure safety, quality and on-time production while modeling company values and procedures.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily work, training and mentoring staff, conducting performance discussions, and driving continuous improvement on the line. This is a non-exempt role with a shift differential.

Qualifications

• Preferred candidates will have prior leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading a team in metal fabrication is desirable.
• Strong ability to read and interpret manufacturing paperwork and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead team to meet production and quality goals.
• Coordinate flow of orders and material handling within the team.
• Train, cross-train, and develop team members per work instructions.
• Conduct Tier 1 meetings and provide performance feedback.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and PPE worn on the floor.
• Complete timecards and participate in performance reviews.
