Job summary

Turner-Mining-Group-LLC is seeking a Team Lead Pipe Layer for a direct placement, permanent role in Charles Town, WV. You will supervise a crew, read civil plans, and set grades using pipe lasers, GPS rovers, and line transfer units.

Responsibilities include leading daily operations, coordinating utility installations (water, storm, sanitary), performing field testing, and maintaining safety logs per OSHA guidelines. Strong leadership and hands-on setup skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of underground utility pipe laying experience.
• 2+ years leading crews or acting as foreman.
• OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and coordinate a crew to meet production goals safely.
• Read civil plans and establish lines using pipe lasers, GPS rovers, and line transfer units.
• Oversee deep underground utility installations and field testing.
• Support backfill and material handling with occasional equipment operation.
• Maintain OSHA trench safety and daily logs.
