Qualifications

• 5+ years in underground utility pipe laying
• 2+ years leading crews or acting as a working foreman
• Proficient in reading civil blueprints
• Proficient with pipe lasers, GPS rovers, and line transfer units
• OSHA 10 certification and a valid drivers license

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and coordinate a crew to meet production goals safely and efficiently.
• Interpret civil plans to establish accurate lines and grades using pipe lasers, GPS rovers, and line transfer units.
• Oversee deep underground utility installations (storm, sanitary, water main) and execute required field testing.
• Support backfill and material handling by operating small wheel loaders and end-dump haul trucks as needed.
• Maintain OSHA trench safety protocols and complete daily production logs.
