Qualifications

• 5+ years in underground utility pipe laying, with leadership experience.
• 2+ years leading crews or acting as a working foreman.
• Proficient reading civil blueprints and conducting tests.
• Experience operating pipe lasers, GPS rovers, and line transfer units.
• OSHA 10 certification and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and coordinate a crew to meet production goals safely.
• Interpret plans to establish lines and grades using pipe lasers and GPS rovers.
• Oversee deep underground installations and field tests (air, mandrel, pressure).
• Support backfill and material handling; operate small loaders as needed.
• Maintain OSHA trench safety protocols and daily safety logs.
