This role requires 5+ years in underground pipe laying with 2+ years in leadership, OSHA 10, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to safe trench work and daily production logs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in underground utility pipe laying
• 2+ years leading crews or working foreman
• Proficient reading civil blueprints and performing utility tests
• Experience operating pipe lasers, GPS rovers and line transfer units
• Commitment to safety with OSHA 10 certification requirement

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and coordinate a crew to meet production goals safely and efficiently
• Interpret civil site plans to establish lines and grades using pipe lasers, GPS rovers and line transfer units
• Oversee deep underground utility installations (storm, sanitary, water) and supervise field testing
• Support backfill and material handling and operate small loaders or haul trucks as needed
• Maintain OSHA trench safety protocols and daily production logs
