Job summary

Vitalant is seeking a Lead Mobile Phlebotomist in Flagstaff, AZ. You will lead donor care during blood drives and at donation centers, coaching staff and ensuring a smooth, comfortable donor experience.

The role requires driving company vehicles to sites, a Tuesday–Saturday schedule, and a base pay of $25.18–$26.02 per hour with comprehensive benefits. Two years of phlebotomy experience is preferred; CDL training may be required within six months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Active driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to complete and pass CDL license program.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Successful completion of supervisory training program within six months.
• Two years phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function as an operational lead, coaching and guiding staff.
• Serve as the primary contact for blood drive coordinators on-site.
• Coordinate setup and breakdown of equipment for mobile drives.
• Ensure donor comfort and information during phlebotomy.
• Support supervisor in directing Donor Care Technicians and evaluations.
• Drive company vehicles to drive sites.

Your impact as a Lead Mobile Phlebotomist is vital. You will assist Vitalant's donor care team as a lead in creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donor volunteers, most days you'll conduct a blood drive around town in one of our buses; other days you'll interact with donors at one of our local donation centers. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.

As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you'll get to

• Function as an operational lead, supporting staff with interviewing and phlebotomy processes, and providing coaching when needed.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for blood drive coordinators on-site
• Coordinate the set up and breakdown of equipment for mobile blood drives.
• Ensure the comfort and information of blood donors during phlebotomy process.
• Assist the Manager or Supervisor in providing direction and/or supervision of Donor Care Technicians, providing input for employee performance evaluations.
• Drive company vehicles including vans, buses to drive sites
