Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Team Lead-Patient Care Services in New Bedford, MA. This role anchors evening/night shifts with weekends as needed, guiding operations in Med Surg/Tele at St. Luke’s Hospital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Minimum of three years related work experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to use technology to document, evaluate and manage patient outcomes.
• Strong organizational, coordination and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Current RN Registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Specialty certification is preferred.
• Vaccination against influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily operations within Patient Care Services under a manager.
• Oversee performance reviews, scheduling, fiscal responsibilities and quality initiatives.
• Coordinate departmental activities and liaise with other teams to ensure high-quality care.

We are searching for a talented Team Lead-Patient Care Services

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Evening/Night shift with weekends as needed; 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm and 3:00 pm to 03:00 am

Location: Med Surg/Tele - St. Luke’s Hospital – New Bedford, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

Under direction of individually assigned Manager, Patient Care and/or Director, Patient Services, perform diversified duties both within and in support of the department including leadership, performance review process, daily operations, departmental manpower scheduling , fiscal responsibilities, educational responsibilities, performance improvement , liaison, quality, etc.

Qualifications

• A Bachelors Degree in Nursing or the equivalent knowledge and experience is required.
• A minimum of three years related work experience is required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize technology to document, evaluate and manage patient outcomes.
• Demonstrated organizational, coordination and time management skills.
• Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Current RN Registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Specialty certification is preferred.

• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $49.87 - USD $92.63 /Hr.
