Job summary

BlackFish Federal LLC seeks a Team Lead for Material Handlers to supervise a 10–12 person warehouse team supporting NARA. The role combines leadership with hands-on material handling, ordering, tracking, and scanning workflows.

Responsibilities include coordinating logistics with the client, ensuring accuracy and safety, and maintaining daily punch-in/-out and production targets. Candidates must pass screenings and have a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 3 years of directly related experience at NARA or similar environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of Team Lead responsibilities.
• Demonstrated professional leadership with delegation and guidance to others.
• Comfortable leading a 10–12 member team.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to perform in a labor-intensive environment.
• Ability to lift boxes up to 30–50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to climb ladders to reach shelving up to 15 feet high.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• U.S. citizens required.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with client or client point-of-contact to discuss logistics.
• Monitor work for accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency; coordinate with Government personnel.
• Ensure personnel adhere to Standards of Conduct and security requirements.
• Serve as liaison between contract personnel and client; escalate issues to COR/PM as needed.
• Sign in/out workers daily; verify times and weekly totals.
• Remain on site during work performance with limited exceptions.
• Assist with training personnel and learning work processes.
• Ensure labor tasks meet production standards and are completed.
• Perform Material Handler tasks: locate containers, verify pull lists, and report discrepancies.
• Move records to disposal areas, palletize and shrink wrap as required.
• Retrieve and process batch requests; sign out batches and document times.
• Retrieve documents for scanning; ensure order, quality images, and proper handling.
• Use handheld devices for basic data entry and daily totals.
