Job summary

CAVA in Irving, TX is seeking a Team Leader to help bring our mission and values to life in our restaurant. You will lead daily operations, mentor team members, and ensure guests receive exceptional service while upholding food safety and quality standards.

You will open and close the restaurant, place food orders, conduct inventory, manage cash handling, and support training. We value generosity, curiosity, agility, positivity, and collective ambition in our work.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching and developing team members.
• Ability to open/close the restaurant, place food orders, conduct inventory, and handle cash.
• Commitment to food safety and cleanliness.
• Strong problem solving and decision making.
• Shift deployment to ensure high service levels.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Managers and Team Members to bring the spirit of hospitality to our guests and create quality food.
• Coach, develop, and support the cross training of Team Members as our business grows.
• Support the overall restaurant experience and execute duties including opening/closing, ordering, inventory, and cash handling as needed.
• Support food safety initiatives and ensure that other Team Members follow proper practices and cleanliness standards.
• Model sound decision making and help resolve issues that may arise.
• Support deployment practices on your scheduled shift to ensure heightened service interactions with guests and prompt presentation of food orders.
