Lockheed Martin in Orlando seeks an Embedded Software Engineering Associate Manager to lead end-to-end development of embedded C++/Linux applications in an Agile environment. You will drive simulation framework delivery and oversee standards, tooling, and process adherence.

You will manage a multidisciplinary team, guide performance and career development, and recruit talent for this mission-critical program. U.S. citizenship and clearance ability required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related sciences
• Experience with software design
• Experience with embedded software design
• Experience with C++ and software development
• Implementation and Verification & Validation testing
• Must be a US citizen - this position requires the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve simulation software libraries that model tactical components and operational environments.
• Define, design, code, test, integrate, and verify embedded simulation software using JIRA, Git, and Confluence.
• Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team, providing technical coaching, career development, and performance feedback.
• Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities while ensuring adherence to standards, processes, and tools.
• Lead recruitment, training, salary planning, and competency development; act as the technical conscience for the program.
