Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. seeks a Team Lead at our Texas child care center to guide classroom instruction, promote growth, and build strong family partnerships. You will mentor teachers, implement engaging curricula, and ensure safe, developmentally appropriate activities.

As a Team Lead, you may step in for Director or Assistant Director, opening and closing the school when needed, while maintaining licensing compliance and a warm, responsive learning environment for children.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development or a CDA are preferred.
• Ability to meet state/licensing requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children through curriculum implementation.
• Lead classroom management and ensure instruction accounts for at least 50% of the weekly schedule.
• Communicate with families to support child achievement and center success.
• Assist with mentoring and onboarding of new hires and fellow teachers.
• Take on Director or Assistant Director duties in their absence, including opening/closing the school.
