Job summary

Collaborative Support Programs (CSPNJ) in Atlantic City seeks a daytime Team Lead to supervise Outreach Workers and guide street outreach efforts targeting unsheltered individuals. Description

CSPNJ, a mental health nonprofit agency, is looking for a daytime Team Lead in Atlantic City. Under the Director of Unhoused, the Team Lead will assist the Outreach Workers with providing comprehensive support to finding and identifying unsheltered homeless individuals through direct street outreach activities in Atlantic City. The focus of this work is to connect individuals with resources and services to assist them in stabilizing their homeless, mental health and primary health situations. 90% of time will be spent out in the community engaging unhoused individuals.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Utilize harm reduction and housing first approaches when conducting street outreach and engage with individuals to determine homelessness history, services needed, and appropriate placement options.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of the individual’s needs, including health, emotional, social, and environmental factors.
• Responsible for gaining a holistic understanding of the homeless population in their catchment areas and works in collaboration with the community and other partners to implement appropriate housing and service solutions.
• Participate in community outreach and education efforts to raise awareness of homelessness and services.

Full-time | 40 hours | Benefit Eligible (Medical, free DMO dental & free vision) including 6 weeks PTO & 11 Holidays

Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday: 8:00am – 4:30pm

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a mental health discipline or High School diploma / GED with 2+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of HMIS software a plus!
