La Petite Academy in Edmond, OK is seeking a Team Lead to guide a preschool classroom, engage families, and model best practices in early childhood education. You will lead instruction, support curriculum implementation, and promote a safe, nurturing learning environment.

We value 18+ candidates with experience in licensed childcare, and credentials toward Early Childhood Education or a CDA. We offer growth opportunities, ongoing training, credential assistance, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Energetic, dependable, passionate individuals 18+ are sought.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred.
• Ability to meet state/accreditation requirements for education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Teacher! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care. Take lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicator! Build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and center’s success.
• Mentor! Assist with management, training, and mentoring of new hires and fellow Teachers to create engaging learning experiences.
• Leader! Assume Director/Assistant Director duties in absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Expert! Ensure daily care following licensing guidelines and company standards.
