Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking a Team Lead for a child care center in Edmond, OK. This role focuses on promoting growth and leading classroom instruction, with responsibilities in management, curriculum implementation, and family engagement.

The Team Lead will mentor new hires and assist with coverage in Director/Assistant Director duties when needed, ensuring licensing and company standards are followed daily.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits toward Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care and lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and support the center’s success.
• Mentor and assist with management, training, and coaching of new hires and fellow teachers.
• In the absence of the Director or Assistant Director, perform their duties, including opening and closing the school, as needed.
• Ensure daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.
