Job summary

La Petite Academy in Texas is seeking a Team Lead to promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children while leading classroom instruction and curriculum implementation. You will communicate with families to support the child’s progress and participate in mentoring new hires.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Teacher: Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care and lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicator: Build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and center success.
• Mentor: Assist with training and mentoring of new hires and fellow Teachers with engaging learning experiences.
• Leader: Assume Director/Assistant Director duties in absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Expert: Ensure daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.
