Job summary

Learning Care Group in Edmond, OK is hiring a Team Lead at a child care center to guide classrooms, lead curriculum, and support families daily. We seek energetic, 18+ team members for this role.

You will mentor new hires, potentially step in for Director duties, and ensure licensed daily care while adhering to company standards, focusing on safety and growth through play in a busy preschool.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care and lead classroom management and curriculum implementation (instruction at least 50% of weekly schedule).
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and support your center’s success.
• Mentor and assist with training of new hires and fellow Teachers, creating fun, interactive learning experiences for preschool children.
