Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits toward Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA preferred.
• Ability to meet state and accreditation requirements and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Promote social, physical and intellectual growth; lead classroom management and curriculum delivery.
• Communicate with families to support child achievement and center success.
• Mentor and train new hires and fellow teachers; create engaging learning experiences.
• Cover director/assistant director duties when needed and oversee daily operations.
