Job summary

Learning Care Group in Birmingham, AL, is hiring a Team Lead to guide a classroom, implement curriculum, and promote children's social, physical, and intellectual growth. You will lead classroom management and ensure 50% of weekly schedule is instructional.

You will communicate with families, mentor new hires, and be ready to step in as Director or Assistant Director when needed; follow licensing guidelines and company standards to care for every child.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom management and implement lessons.
• Deliver instruction for at least 50% of the weekly schedule.
• Communicate with families to support child achievement and center success.
• Mentor and train new hires and fellow Teachers with engaging learning experiences.
• Open and close the school in the absence of Director or Assistant Director.
• Ensure daily care follows licensing guidelines and company standards.
