Job summary

Vk Venture is seeking a results-driven Team Leader to build and lead a team of field promoters for merchant onboarding and promotion of digital payment solutions in the United States. The role emphasizes hiring, coaching, and driving merchant acquisition strategies across retail clusters.

You will manage promoter activities, set targets, monitor performance, and report outcomes to leadership. Prior fintech field sales experience and a track record of team motivation are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of fintech field sales, merchant onboarding, or digital payment services experience.
• Preference for experience with Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay merchant acquisition.
• Proven ability to hire, manage, and motivate field sales teams.
• Strong understanding of merchant acquisition, retailer handling, and field sales operations.
• Good communication, leadership, and target-achievement skills.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Team Leader who can build, manage, and lead a team of field promoters for merchant onboarding. The ideal candidate should have experience in merchant acquisition, QR code deployment, and digital payment solutions, similar to the field sales teams of Paytm, Google Pay (GPay), and PhonePe.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Building: Recruit, hire, and onboard field promoters for merchant acquisition activities.
• Merchant Onboarding: Drive merchant onboarding and other fintech products.
• Field Sales Management: Guide promoters in conducting market visits, approaching retailers, and converting prospects into active merchants.
• Team Productivity: Set daily and monthly targets, monitor performance, and ensure consistent business growth.
• Performance Monitoring: Track daily sales, active merchants, promoter productivity, and target achievements.
• Market Expansion: Identify new markets, retail clusters, and business opportunities to expand merchant coverage.
• Reporting: Share daily team performance reports, hiring updates, and business projections with management.
