Job summary

Eclipse Advantage is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to guide daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety, accuracy, and productivity. You will work hands-on with the crew to meet tight timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum warehouse experience required; team lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to train and coach teammates on procedures and safety.
• Experience with RF scanners and warehouse documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of warehouse associates during daily operations.
• Unload and break down freight alongside team members.
• Assign tasks, prioritize workflow, and monitor productivity throughout the shift.
• Sort, organize, repack, label, and stage freight accurately and efficiently.
• Operate and oversee safe use of material handling equipment (pallet jacks, conveyors, etc.).
• Train new associates on warehouse procedures, RF scanner use, and safety standards.
• Ensure accurate scanning, packing, and documentation of freight using RF Scanner technology.
• Identify and report damaged freight, unusable pallets, and equipment issues.
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer SOPs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free work environment; enforce safety policies.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding performance and workflow updates.
• Assist management with reporting, attendance tracking, and coaching as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for leading daily warehouse operations while working hands-on with the team to ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are met. This role serves as a key point of contact between warehouse associates and management.

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• -Lead and support a team of warehouse associates during daily operations
• -Unload and break down freight (e.g., trucks, trailers, rail cars) alongside team members
• -Assign tasks, prioritize workflow, and monitor productivity throughout the shift
• -Sort, organize, repack, label, and stage freight accurately and efficiently
• -Operate and oversee the safe use of material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, conveyors, bailers, compactors, shrink wrappers)
• -Train new associates on warehouse procedures, RF scanner use, and safety standards
• -Ensure accurate scanning, packing, and documentation of freight using RF Scanner technology
• -Identify and report damaged freight, unusable pallets, and equipment issues
• -Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer SOPs
• -Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
• -Enforce safety policies and lead by example in safe work practices
• -Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding performance, issues, and workflow updates
• -Assist management with reporting, attendance tracking, and coaching as needed
• -Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• -Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience (Team Lead or leadership experience preferred)
• -Prior experience leading or training others strongly preferred
• -Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, continuously lifting and moving up to 50 lbs
• -Certification on warehouse material handling equipment preferred (e.g., electric pallet jack)
• -Proven ability to meet and drive fast-paced productivity goals
• -Strong communication and leadership skills
• -Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
• -Willingness to work overtime and weekends during peak/seasonal volumes
• -Ability to work in various climate conditions (including coolers/freezers if applicable)
• -Reliable transportation and consistent on-time attendance
• -Ability to stand, walk, and climb for 8-10 hours per shift
• -Safety shoes required
• -Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
