Job summary

Eclipse Advantage in Arlington, TX is hiring a warehouse associate for first shift. You will unload freight, sort items, operate material handling equipment, and use RF scanners. Training is provided for equipment use and inventory processing.

The role requires physical stamina and commitment to safety and accuracy in packaging and labeling. The position offers steady hours, overtime during peak seasons, and benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• 6 months warehouse experience preferred (but training available).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to stand for 8–10 hours and work in various climate conditions.

Job Description:

• Unloads and breaks down freight (eg.trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc.)
• Sorts and organizes freight
• Operate various types of material handling equipment
• Sort, repack, and label freight
• Identify unusable pallets
• Basic ability to read, count and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
• Remove items from sorting bins, scan and place onto conveyer belt
• Remove items from packing bins, scan items using RF Scanner for accuracy, produce packing list and bag items
• Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures. (eg.bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
• Maintains work area in a clean and hazard free condition

Pay Range:

$22.00 - $22.00 per hour

Pay Scale:

Not applicable

Shift:

First Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Job Requirements:

• 6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train)
• Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs
• Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (ie electric pallet jack)
• Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
• Excellent customer service required
• Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes
• Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
• Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
• Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
• Effective communication skills
• Safety shoes are required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Other duties as assigned
